O site do fangoria.com pode falar um pouco sobre o jogo e sobre o preview deles depois de jogar por mais de 8 horas o RPG...e vale a pena ler:
"DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS, from Bioware and EA, looks to be the best game I’ve played in years. I recently had a chance to preview the game, playing through about eight hours.
I have a fair bit of game experience, having been a game developer for many years, as well as having reviewed RPGs and the like for the past 10 years. DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS breaks new ground in terms of theme, as well as building a living, breathing world.
Thematically, DA is definitely dark. The Bioware team calls it a “Dark Fantasy,” which is technically correct, but this puppy is dark in terms of human nature. The people around you, as well as the people in your party, have real personalities and agendas. You can feel the malevolence—you can feel the spiritualism—you can feel the real pain of these characters.
Much of this realism is due to the incredible animation and VO work. There are many cut scenes that propel the story, all of which add to the gameplay. Awesome, awesome work with these cut scenes. I would liken them to any major motion picture in terms of cinematography, score/sound, and animation. This is quite an achievement, considering the game engine renders these scenes in real time. In many ways, I consider this to be an animated feature (more below).
Beyond this, I’d like to tip my hat to Bioware for the great inclusion of blood. This is an M-rated game, so blood can be shed as needed. In this game, the close-combat characters get covered in blood, and then the blood stays on them as they continue. Heads get torn off in combat, limbs severed, skin torn and skewered—more and more blood. I was in heaven. Even the dragon logo is an awesome blood stain!
In general terms of an RPG, I need say no more than “Bioware” and any gamer knows that the RPG experience will be deep. And this game is no slouch. Further, the setup/play of the game is top of the line. In the above fact sheet, Bioware says: “Elaborate character creator with more than 40 features to modify allows you to create your own, unique hero.” That is an understatement! The subtle changes you can make in the look of your character are enormous. I started to play around with it and then had to stop because I realized I could have spent hours trying to make my character as unique as I’d like, but I only had a limited amount of time to play. (If you doubt me, wait until you try the game!)
Next up is the interface—all seamless in terms of gameplay. The battle system offers many combinations to tailor the experience to the player. A casual gamer can put most of the settings on auto with respect to combat. Advanced players can create a unique AI system for each of their party members and play in a real-time combat system, or move it more toward a turn-based system.
What truly impressed me about this game, though, was the living, breathing world. The incredible cut scenes—combined with the VO work—all melded together into what I perceive to be the first true interactive animated feature. As I played, the world of DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS took on a life of its own. The interface faded away. Battling the Darkspawn became part of my duties. Interacting with the denizens—deciding what to say to them—figuring out what choices I would make… I felt like I was truly engaged by the world.
I will reiterate my opening statement: DRAGON AGE: ORIGINS looks to be the best game I’ve played in years. I have only played the first eight hours or so, but I am salivating to complete the game. I am looking forward to spilling more blood—looking forward to kicking some demon ass—and looking forward to getting back into the world of DA. I may never return!"
